History of Internet

We can find the internet’s roots in 1962, J.C.R Licklider created a argument about “galactic network in one of the most biggest university of America “Massachusetts Institute of Tecnology” (MIT). Licklider wants to mean that people get information from every part of world. Licklider was a leader of (Defense Advensed Research Project Agency – DARPA) in American army. Lawrance Roberts and Thomas Merrill worked as researcher in MIT and they spoke one another.

At the end of 1966, Robert started to work in DARPA and It offered a project “ARPANET”. The first connection on ARPANET was made with 4 centers in 1969 and the first of internet’s syle was created. The four stations which made up ARPANET were University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), Stanford Research Institute (SRI), University of Utah and University of California at Santa Barbara ( UCSB).

Shortly computers from too many stations connected to ARPANET network. It started to work with a protocol called (NCP-Network Control Protocol ). (ICCC- International Computer Communications Conference ) was made in October 1972 .

In January 1 , 1983 Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol- TCP/IP was used with ARPANET. TCP/IP is main bangle of today’s internet network
